Queer night tacoma
Is coming!

Coming Summer of
2022

Queer Night Tacoma is in the process of planning and raising funds to start in late Summer of 2022. Below you will see what we are working on and the goals that we are trying to accomplish to make Queer Night Tacoma the biggest monthly event for the city. We do have to remember that in 2012, Tacoma was named the “Gayest City in America” but the Advocate magazine. A renown publication for the LGBTQ+ community. Queer NW is trying to bring this title back to our home town.

Queer Night Market

The Queer Night Market is a place for LGBTQ+ and Allies to share and sell what they make and produce. A way of showing the many different talents and help prosper business in the LGBTQ+ community.

Queer Community Pavilion

The Queer Community Pavilion will be connected to the market area and will host the community main stage and provide for as the focal gathering space. During nice weather we will do this as a block party outdoors.

Queer Community Main Stage

The Queer Community Main Stage is for spotlighting and showcasing the local community. Rather it is performing or sharing information about your group or organization. This is an open stage for people to sign up and building community spirit together.

Coordinated Events

The Coordinated Events are a collaboration between Queer NW and local businesses. By helping each other promote and build a ever growing network of events for people to come see, participate, or just be an audience member. Events can be free or charge admission. We do want to help the businesses that serve us and are there for us all the time.

Dining with Pride!

Dining With Pride! is the fundraising program we have created that collaborates with local restaurant to provide a Dine Out experience. For Tacoma, Dining With Pride! will happen the same night as Queer Night Tacoma.

Community Open Houses

Open Houses are the best way to share your organization with the community. Rather you are a nonprofit and want to share the programs you are providing to the community, or if you are a local business that is LGBTQ+ or Ally owned and want to share that your doors are open. These are signed up to be registered as a Queer Safe Place.
